Cullen

The Royal Burgh of Cullen is known more for leisure, ice cream  and Cullen Skink soup than its old fishing industry.

Established in 1189 Cullen had booms in the 1700’s in thread making and as a herring port in the 1800’s when the Seatown was built along side the pier and harbour designed by Thomas Telford.

The beach and Cullen Links Golf Course are two minutes walk from the property.  The Cullen Bay Hotel and other restaurants, shops and bars are also within walking distance of the cottage.  Cullen is the ideal base for the Whisky Trail and is close to Baxters.
